In 2002, at ages 11-14, the quartet now known as LoveNotes began as a Young Women In Harmony quartet through Sweet Adelines International. The group, then called UnderAge Quartet, performed and competed regionally at the youth level until they won the 2005 International Young Women In Harmony competition in Greenville, South Carolina.
After their YWIH win the group continued to work at their craft, perform, educate, and compete at the adult level through Sweet Adelines. In 2009 they became Regional Champions for Pacific Shores Region 12 and started competing at the International level with the world's best barbershop quartets.
